So this guy made a song for me, and I'm not sure what genre it could be under.
I'm not musically talented at all to be honest with you.

I was thinking 8bit but is it chiptune?

I don't know if it would fall under specifically chiptune or some other more obscure specific genre, but it's definitely not 8-bit. So chiptune is the safer to say of the two.
