Greetings to all,
Many know of the previous fate of Linistel in the wake of a relentless undead siege.
However, due to the efforts of various individuals, a new dawn has recently arrived for our city.
The siege has been halted, the risen have been cleared from the streets and slowly but surely the people return.
With this, I wish to clarify the current situation of Linistel and what is to come.
At present, I, Linden Silveira, Son of Queen Sugar Silveira, am tending to the city as Regent until the return of the Queen.
Step by step the city will be restored to be fully hospitable to both citizen and visitor alike, as we work to restore self-sufficiency, provisions and eventual proper trade once more.
With this, Lady Milah Sicarus-Freyr is continuing her role as Right Hand of the Queen, bearing both the privileges and responsibilities of her position as closest to the Highest Seat in both Court and rank of Nobility. She will aid in coordinating various aspects of Linistel's safety and restoration.
A warning is also issued in advance to both returning citizenry and visitors.
While the city is free from the grasp of the undead, the outside areas beyond the city are still deemed dangerous to lingering stragglers, especially in the caves beyond civilization.
These areas are to be avoided at present for one's own safety.
May Linistel regain much of its former glory and become a welcoming haven once more.
