House Ivanov, in its capacity as the Keepers of the Veil and the former Inquisition of Saint Jacqueline declares a second war on The Reaching Hand. It has allied itself with Astrakhan, and established a temporary headquarters inside the settlement from which to meet The Reaching Hand on the field of battle. Its casus beli is accusations of The Reaching Hand aiding demons in their war against reality itself, breaching treaties formerly established, the illegal arrest and confinement of House Ivanov's primary heir Matthias von Ivanov, and being right sticks in the mud with poor table manners.
