Posters are spread to nearly all cities and local factions. Libraries most of all seem to have multiple posters hung up inside.

To The People of Our Realm.

Yesterday, First day, 5th of Fogwater, 2309, new knowledge has been brought to light due to the efforts of the scholars and devout of Candlewood, gifted to us by the Figment Know. We believe this information to be of vital importance for the realm at large to Know, and thus we share it with you now.
These details pertain to the demonic incursion upon our lands and attributes we had no prior knowledge of.

Scions:
Beyond the known types of modern corrupted individuals, Infernals and Abyssals. Lesser and greater bound respectively. There seemingly exist those whose souls have been Corrupted in a way beyond the physical attributes we have come to Know. These individuals can sire Corrupted children into our realm, and while these juvenile souls may be intact, the influences of the nether are unmistakably part of their nature. They are Scions. Offspring of those bound to a Greater Fiend. Possibly through ritual or other means, the parents can change their child over time to resemble themselves. Horns, changed skin, odd eyes.

It is of note that those who have in the past been Abyssals, and since have been exorcised, might still be able to sire Scions into our realm. More research will have to be done to figure this mystery out. But until this time, I advise those who have been possessed in the past to not try and procreate, for the risks are too high.

At this time it is unknown if something similar is possible for Infernals, who hasn't been tied into a contract with a Greater Fiend yet.

Souls in Hell:
Those possessed tie their souls with another entity. In death, these souls are taken directly to the Hell Realms. There they are contained in some form of imprisonment. Know describes them as large Jars, tormented and bound there. For these souls, there is no Afterlife as long as they remained in such things.

If their contract with their Fiend is fulfilled they remain there in the service of their new owner. Perhaps sometimes they have work to be done, and in return to life they do so through ashes and broken bones of the dead, memories are violent though unclear, and marks can remain of how they died. This has been dubbed the Fiendish Return.

As our defense turns into the offense, and more expeditions into the depths of the Nether are prepared, perhaps we the people of Altera will be able to find and free the spirits trapped in their Jars, and return balance to those who have either lost all or parts of their soul.

It is pertinent that this knowledge is spread far and wide, for only in spreading knowledge will we stand a chance at preventing worse from befalling us.

Now all that remains of us is to gather and research every minute detail of how modern Corruption works. What is the exact damage to the body and soul, and how to handle and prevent demonic possession. Most importantly, learn if there are ways to repair the damage done so we can stamp out every single root of demonic influence in our realm.

Through the difficulties, to the truth.

Know was mean to me and said you should all get more knowledge, so I'll bump this lest I incur his wrath
