Recently, a now banned member was spreading claims about the handling of a moderation ticket regarding sexual harassment that took place several years ago. The information about the harassment was shared publicly on the forums, at which point the member was directed to make a moderation ticket, following already set precedent in such manners. The moderation team did their due diligence in finding any other relevant information regarding these events not present in the already shared information. After unanimous agreement from all team members, a ban was issued the same day that the ticket was opened. A ban report was then shared, following the example of previous ban reports, however the member was unhappy with the length and content of the report, but could not state what should be changed. While this was happening, the reporting member made claims that the team was both victim blaming and being disrespectful, even though the member was only directed to make a ticket than discuss these events over the forums and received compassion within said ticket, and that the perpetrator was shielded at the time these events originally occurred as it had been brought to the previous moderation team. These claims were examined, and no evidence was present on the forums or in the ticketing system that it was actually brought forward to the team. This member then proceeded to be toxic both on the forums and in the discord, while misrepresenting the actions of the moderation team, to such a level that a ban was warranted.
