Tell us about yourself!: I like to think myself a creative person, whether it’s music, art, writing, cosplay, any of it. I’ve been doing MCRP’s since before covid, most of my time is spent from FantasyRP, which closed about a year ago now. In my free time I like to read and play DND, as well as a bunch of other TTRPGs, as well as drone racing and electrical work on that regard. I’d say I’m a helpful person and calm, definitely not a trouble maker, as well as loyal once I find something to be loyal to. My general goal in life is to inspire others and have fun doing it.

Character Name: Dane
Age: 18
Race: Human
Appearance: He has silver-white hair, with specks of black, and if the light catches it almost looks like a pattern instead of random. His eyes are brown. He typically wears a tan shirt with a black pirate frock over it. He also uses a pair of patchwork breeches. He’s about 5’ 2”.

Written Test (Min: 400 words):
(I wasn’t sure what you meant by story, so I did a backstory for my character.) Dane never never knew his parents, his earliest memories are of living in the streets, a poor street rat. His best guess is that he lived on Astrum Island, but he’s never been able to verify it. At the age of eight he was smuggled onto a pirate ship by a Lin Hanshill, she was the only person to know about him being there for nearly a month, when he was discovered, they let him stay, but Hanshill paid with her life. The next few years are a blur for him, but he proved himself useful, fitting into small spaces, good at picking locks, and other things. Among his expertise, knot tying became one of them, which didn’t bode well later on.
He would help the crew try to pillage villages, both coastal and inland, but the attempts almost always ended wrong and comically. But, one fateful day, they tried to raid Queensport, but his captain, Jean De Fritas fell, a stupid mistake, De Fritas was like a brother to Dane, and it was his fault for the death, a knot wasn’t secured right, so it unraveled, causing Jean to fall to his death, on a guard’s spear. Dane ran, knowing what would happen if he stayed, he was sixteen at this point.
After a month of running, he found a cave, a shallow, small thing, he set up tent there, hiding, living only a days walk from Gra’Kannat’Orra. His first encounter with magic was an unknown mage, who Dane saw start a fire with his bare hands, to this day it sparked an interest in magic that has never stopped. He wants to figure out a way to combine magic and technology to make the Hellscape safer, and even end the war, ending the age of inferno, but of course, that’s all dreams. His hopes lead him into the study of the era of incursion, which led to the era of grief, Dane hoped that he could find clues to stop the nether from ever coming in the first place. He fell into the following of Skraag, hoping he could find a way to bring his friend back.
At age seventeen he left the small life he had made for himself, eager to learn about the world, learn the ways of the races, the cultures of the world, and pursue his own path, and face try to find his once crew. Even find his parents, if at all possible.
