"To make the most quality silver, you have to mix it with nickel. The nickel lends its strength to the soft metal, without compromising its inherent beauty. You cannot filter the nickel from the silver after it has been forged as such. In the same manner, those of the same blood cannot be unbound from one another, and so must be treated as one another, punished and rewarded equally."

Introduction
Fuvurians are the people who inhabit the lands of Sanardu, under the rule of House Fuvur. The name originated in the old lands of Riseport, where House Fuvur truly began to mould and develop a structure of its own and have more of a standing in the ever changing political world. Trade was the point of focus there, and so it is here, in this new city. Time has passed enough for the culture to develop again, adapted to the new landscape but holding onto the roots of it’s origin.
This thread will detail the culture of the ‘Fuvurian’, and should you be interested in making one for yourself, you need only PM Elz or Blarg with your desire for it and we’ll run it through with you.

Origins of the word ‘Fuvurian’
Fuvurian, a word derivative of the family name of House Fuvur, is a word that lost its original meaning quite some time ago. Now, the word Fuvurian has evolved to encompass things that are the product of, or related to, House Fuvur. Their people have taken the word Fuvurian as a means of describing themselves as a people.
To use Fuvurian as a moniker to describe oneself as a person, you are obviously saying you’re someone related to House Fuvur. To do so implies much more than that, however. To call yourself Fuvurian would mean that you are someone who has at least survived, if not thrived, under a regime incredibly dangerous to all but the most loyal citizens. If you’re an older member of the culture, you may have seen things that outsiders are simply no longer privy to: The caiman of Riseport, the kraken in our migration over the sea, the amazing tall and steep cliffs of Riseport, with its equally massive trees, and the short-lived defence of Riseport before abandoning it for what was almost our equivalent to Noah's’ ark, The Cradle. New members of the culture have faced, and will continue to face, their own struggles and wonders as well - the apparent power struggle against the land itself that we have only recently begun winning, the terrors from the skies we all know as Gryphons, and the fear for the well-being of our fledgling city.
History
Riseport. That is where things began, and it is important to know our roots if we are to implement it into our current living.
