Separating Wolves from Sheep
To become a member of the Red Hand cult one must prove themself ruthless in battle. Initiation comes in the form of a fight to the death, whether it be a challenge from the predator or the prey. There does not even need to be a formal challenge; membership can be earned through random battle, when one decides to choose death over mercy and gives it their all. Those who seek to be spared after the fight are culled, for they are 'sheep.' Those who reject mercy and fight to the bitter end are instead incapacitated and given membership as a reward for being 'wolves.'
