The Battle has began, the City is consumed by Fire and Blood. The People Cry: "Astrum shall not fall!"​

A Spider swimming, never drowning -

A Spider crawls to Shore.

A Spider singing, laughing, killing -

A Spider goes to War.

this is very good.

The Spider battled long into the night, and many of His Children lay squashed on the streets.

The Spider went into battle with some Friends and lost, but the War against the Bugs goes on.

Astrum is safe, for now. But already, new webs in new places are being spun.


OOC: This event has ended! After a long, hard battle, the defenders managed to kill off and rout the Jishrimite raiders and their wretched vessels! None of the defenders have died, though many are wounded. Much of the town has been reduced to smouldering cinders, and the bodies of brave, defending civilians, guards, and raiders alike lie on the streets. As the enemy retreated, they ransacked houses, burned down grain stores, and cursed the name of Astrum and the Tektons. Their job was done, but much of Astrum remained standing.
