Siege of Scourge
After numerous logistical errors and severe weather storms, the initial offensive into Scourge was postponed. Artillery continues to bombard and soften Royalist defenses on the "weak position" in Scourge's fortifications. Skirmishes between wall defenders and legionaries ignite and burn into the night. Strategos Theodosius Herennius urges citizens to avoid the eastern edge of the city since certain sections are under artillery barrage. But, as a coup de grâce, the Strategos is organizing the second offensive into the city. Once the fortifications are rendered "soft" after an artillery barrage, the legionnaires are ordered to assault the walls.
OOC: If you want to come, say so and come. If you do come, please be a royalist temp, alt or maybe a main. The royalists are fanatical guerrilla fighters who'd most likely rather die than surrender. The royalists, or reds, will defend the very unfortified wall with their lives. Reds aren't very well equipped, so unless you bring in some better armor from a main or alt, you'd be wearing mail, gambesons and such.
