Identifying Marks: An infinite symbol made with the words "nothing is forever" marks his right arm. Through self meditation and the lessons of life Damen learned that nothing in life, hardship or blessing, lasts forever.
Appearance: A bald head and friendly smile is the first thing to great many people. Damen's stall stature intimidates most people, but is quickly dissolved after a warm handshake and beer. When not working on site Damen prefers to wear the silken cloths that his mother made him as a parting gift.
Strengths: Architect. Leader. Diplomat. These are the words that come to mind when you hear the name Damen Black. From a young age Damen worked with his father and uncle as a carpenter, building structures all across his homeland. His love for stone craft and natural ability to meld it seamlessly with various woods made his name well known all through out his homeland.
Weaknesses and fears: While damen may claim only a few structures as his, they are perfection. It is this perfection that causes loss of sleep, and sometimes friends. Damen will never call a project complete, until it's a masterwork. In his youth Damen fell to his fame and rejected the teachings of other master architects with the belief their concepts were outdated. Only recently has Damen learned to listen to the words of his elders and peers.
Religion and cults: Damen's mother greatly wanted to involve her son in the worship of her Elven god, but was prohibited by his father. While his parents agreed on many things religion was never one of them. Damen grew to respect the actions of others, and learned that while words may be remembered in history, only actions shape it. Damen has often thought about traveling to the elven cities around the world to learn of their gods, but hasn't found enough time.
Profession: A young master architect, Damen cuts and bends both stone and wood to his will. When you see a creation by the Black family you remember it. It changes the way you see every building after that. Only recently Damen has learned some of the secrets of the wonderful redstone dust. Combining the near magic of this dust and the integrity of his builds, Damen can offer you a true home.
