- AESTHETIC -
][ The eyes take on a ring of color about the pupil thematic to their Divine, intensifying in spellcasting or heightened emotional states.
][ Harmless arcs of red or blue lightning form between their fingers and/or around the hands in times of increased adrenaline or intense emotion.
][ During times of heightened emotion, adrenaline, or conflict in general, their eyes become an electrical blue in full and arcs of harmless lightning arc around their person and into the ground. Rumbles echo in the sky above, audible only to those nearby.
- QUIRKS -
][ They provide a sense of safety and assurance to those feeling vulnerable with a moment of prolonged eye contact.
][ In times of adrenaline (such as conflict or battle) they are able to lift up to 150lbs with ease for a limited period of time, such as hauling someone’s body from a place of danger or pulling something up that pins an ally down. This cannot be used in combat scenarios against another player.
][ Lightning no longer harms them, and cascades over their bodies and into the ground harmlessly if they are struck by it. This includes natural lightning, and arcane and divine spells that create lightning.
- UNIVERSAL -
PROVIDENCE
The blessed’s soul is warded by their faith in their Divine. If something tries to possess them, or they’re targeted by an effect that is functionally identical to possession, the blessed may roll a d6 save to resist it. If they roll their tier or lower on the d6, the possession fails and has no effect. They are additionally fully immune to any attempts to lay claim to their soul (in terms of it being trapped, imprisoned, or otherwise by some entity. This is not expected to come up much in RP, but exists for flavor). For curses or afflictions like Vyrism or Spiritblessed, they may resist it outright or optionally roll a possession save against it.
SPIRITUAL WEAPON
By ritually praying over a weapon for one hour, the blessed may imbue it with some measure of the divine influence. The weapon will glow with the strength of torchlight in a color thematic to the divine, and intangible foes or foes that are otherwise immune or resistant to attacks from mundane weapons always take some amount of damage from successful attacks with it. Only one weapon may be imbued at a time. For bows, the effect applies to all arrows fired from it.
IMBUED WEAPONS
Any weapon wielded by the blessed is touched by their Divine, imbuing it with greater ability to smite their foes. This offers no additional mechanical effect beyond causing extra damage; it’s less significant than the weapon itself, but adds enough punch to be tangible. The fire does not ignite, the poison does not kill, etc. For creatures or summons with a set number of 'hits,' it counts as dealing an additional hit.
The following list are suggested themes, but you may go with anything that is thematically suitable for your Divine, and adjust colors appropriately.

The blessed serves as a beacon of hope to their allies, bolstering their resolve. Allies within 5 blocks may substitute the blessed’s Soul score for their own on checks to resist effects or conditions.

Artifacts and Trinkets:



NAME: Sparksong

DESCRIPTION: A red tinted viridescence longsword with intricate engravings of dragons inlaid in the blade, the crossguardis shaped like lightning bolts, and in the middle of those is a small symbol of a snowflake. The hilt is made from archblossom wood with leather wrappings on it, and at the bottom the pommel possesses of a viridescence gemstone.

PASSIVE: Those within five blocks are more prone to introspection and reflecting on the righteousness of their actions.

[ABILITY - STORMSTRIKE]: The attuned aims and fires a small bolt of lightning at a target within 20 meters, about the size and speed of an arrow loosed from a shortbow. A target struck by this suffers intense pain and electrical burns on impact, but the effect is distributed and reduced to moderate pain and minor burns if it strikes conductive armor. This may be used up to 3 times a day, and uses Soul+Ranged to resolve attacks.

Luft - Air Elemental - Enthralled



[Gust] With a wave of their hand or a kick of their foot, they send a small gust of air forth, enough to ruffle hair and scatter papers, or extinguish a candle. [Uses- 500+ Day]



[Drift] They float to the ground after jumping from anything under the average first floor of a building, and have the ability to hover off the ground up to a height of one foot for around five minutes at a time, to be used once a day. [Uses- 1]



[Levitate] They are able to make small items such as coins, buttons, or leaves float and twirl idly an inch above their palms. [Uses- 0]



[Drift II] They can float to the ground from twice the height as before, and their moments of levitating one foot high from the ground can last up to ten minutes in one use per day. [Uses- 0]



[Gust II] They find that in moving their arms or legs to create the gust of wind known to them it can be strong enough and direct enough to knock back those in its path at the expense of feeling out of breath. Limited to effect only those in a ten block range. [Uses- 15-30+ Day]



[Levitate II] They can focus on items larger and heavier than before, still limited to an inch above the palm. Items such as cups, daggers, or plant pots are good examples. [Uses- 0]
