That Astrakhan will remain neutral for the span of the conflict, unless provoked.
The contract between Mathieu de Courtnay in which Astrakhan provided Iron for Mead will be indefinitely nulled for the duration of the War, so as not to provide House de Courtnay any War Materiel.
War Materiel will, of course, not be offered to the Southgate Meadery, as well.
However, Food Aid will be Rendered to either of the Belligerents at their Request, in Equal Quantity and Quality to Either Side.
Such Aid will be Free, as the lives of men should not be on the line for lack of Gold And Silver, especially not when there are so many other Evils in Wartime.
The Basileos also offers his Counsel to either side in the hopes that a Peaceful Compromise may be reached without the shedding of blood.
