DESCRIPTION: A moderately sized dark green unknown metal needle with a small almost unnoticeable skull engraved at the shank of the needle. A thread trails behind it that connects it to the attuned right hand, this thread glows a low sickly green.
[PASSIVE]: Within 10b of the attuned, undead will fall passive and generally ignore those within its bounds unless they are provoked or commanded to violence.
[ABILITY - SPIRIT STRING]: The needle is able to move through the air within a range of 5b passively, staying close to the attuned, but must be held to sew items or use to attack another. If pulled out of the 5b range it falls inert and must be picked up again by the attuned. Three times per day, it can be jabbed into a person with only a small sting, and the emotions of target and attuned are shared between one another as well as surface thoughts. This can be willingly ended by either party after one round/ten seconds, or allowed to continue for up to one hour providing the target remains within RP range of the attuned.

DESCRIPTION: A completely bone white flower that never decays and requires no nutrients.
EFFECT: Over time it will turn other plants and matter into a decayed state around it in a radius of 1-2 metres but it itself remain its bone white form.

NAME: Essence of Archon
DESCRIPTION: A small feather that can sit in the palm of a hand, coloured pure white but always shifting with flickers and streaks of teal hues. It leaves a faint glowing trail through the air when moved, and can be willed to dim entirely or emit teal light at the strength of a candle.
EFFECT: Those clutching the feather may find their positive emotions heightened and that they are more prone to caring about things that were once considered 'beneath' them or too small to care for which can bring them moments of great joy.

The Mantle of Decay | Skraag Cult members are immune to infection and disease, and appear slightly more gaunt. - Children of the Wight
A band of dark green marking around each wrist like tattooing. So long as both these links are unbroken, their body will never age nor grow, remaining as it was upon the spell being cast. It also will never heal, and any wounds sustained must be healed through magical means or [UNHALLOWED FLESH]. They are also immune to all mortal diseases and ailments, they no longer require food, drink, or sleep - including supernatural means of sustenance, such as blood, as their body is in effect dead and they are suspended simply through the will of themselves and their god. They are classed as a Lich, a state of undeath but not a type easily removed from spells of other deities.
Note: The spell is broken if the links are, and they can be cut through by simply cutting into the flesh over the band, or even the more drastic removal of the hand above the marking. 'Magical means' includes Formistry
NACTIVE -
T1 Aesthetic - ][ The eyes take on a ring of color about the pupil thematic to their Divine, intensifying in spellcasting or heightened emotional states.
T2 Aesthetic - ][ A green glow appears in areas of the body in times of heightened emotion, adrenaline, or during spell casting. This can be the eyes, the veins of the body, or the hands/fingertips.
T3 Aesthetic - ][ Black shadowy moths can be seen on or around their person. They can be dispersed at will, and made more prominent in certain situations as decided by the player.
T1 Quirk - ][ They are able to summon small skeletal pets that like to linger around them and can do mundane things (like playing dead, fetching small items, etc), though they cannot be used in combat. Up to the size of a rat and up to five at any one time. They vanish into black soot if they are taken out of a ten block radius.
T2 Quirk - ][ They are no longer negatively affected by the smells of death or decay; it's noticeable, but seems more as familiar company than anything unpleasant.
T3 Quirk - ][ Superficial wounds that do not require stitches do not bleed nor fester, and they themselves become immune to infection, mundane disease, and poison.

T1 Universal - || RESILIENCE || Allies within 5 blocks gain one step of advantage on saves against the effects of poison, disease, and other toxins.
T2 Universal - || MARTYR || By placing hands to either side of a recent injury and focusing/channeling for a minute the blessed may remove an injury from another and take it upon themselves instead, making their body whole at the cost of their own. This does not replace lost limbs or body parts; it’ll stem the bleeding, but at cost of opening a similarly grievous wound upon the blessed’s limb. It doesn’t apply to conditions like being poisoned, only flesh wounds, and the target must be living for this to work.

T3 Universal - || AETHERSIGHT || The blessed can see the presence of magic as a faint aura outlining spells, artifacts, or similar magical items and effects. This aura appears purple for arcane spells, and white for divine spells. They gain a bonus die on rolls to discern illusions, and have no penalty on awareness checks to detect invisible foes.

Certain creatures recognize the Blessed of certain gods and behave differently than they would to other mortals, so long as hostility isn’t shown to them.
- Skraag: Mindless undead aren’t hostile to Skraag blessed.
|| PROVIDENCE ||
The blessed’s soul is warded by their faith in their Divine. If something tries to possess them, or they’re targeted by an effect that is functionally identical to possession, the blessed may roll a d6 save to resist it. If they roll their tier or lower on the d6, the possession fails and has no effect. They are additionally fully immune to any attempts to lay claim to their soul (in terms of it being trapped, imprisoned, or otherwise by some entity. This is not expected to come up much in RP, but exists for flavor). For curses or afflictions like Vyrism or Spiritblessed, they may resist it outright or optionally roll a possession save against it.
Hellmann finds herself with a renewed fear of the depths, finding water shifts and moves and she can never see through it. Water is never clear to her anymore no matter the source, always dark and churning. Sometimes red eyes peer up through it, sometimes she sees her reflection crack and distort. Arcane magic cast near her makes her shudder and feel uncomfortable, glimpsing a tall robed figure with half a moon for its face in the corner of her vision now and then.[Visage, Jishrim, Magic]
[ BOON ] Azarins do not need light to see. At night, they see perfectly, though monochromatically. Instead of black-and-white, everything they see is in shades of red.
[ BANE ] Azarins are inherently haughty, arrogant, and believe themselves above others.

Psychophysiological || Nobles become paler and their eyes change from whatever it naturally was to a mix of red and that natural color. They grow fangs that are either pronounced or subtle, depending on the person. Their skin becomes even paler, and they cannot tan. They grow haughty, and their view of people becomes more myopic: only they and theirs matter, the rest inconveniences or tools at best. The paleness of their skin is more pronounced, and their eyes are even more red than before. Noble Vyres of this rank become taken by a pervasive sense of greed; the urge to collect, possess, and consolidate. The focus of this greed can be any number of things, be it wealth or power or land, all that matters is that there is something to amass and accumulate in the Noble's possession. They are incapable of feeling content in their collection, any sense of satisfaction fleeting against the greater high of collecting mor
Strengths || The fangs. Their teeth are unnaturally sharp, for teeth, and able to bite through clothes with ease. Nobles stop aging entirely. They are as if frozen in time.
Weaknesses || Nobles of this rank cannot stand the touch of pure salt, silver, or gold (that is: not as part of an alloy). To them, coming into contact with these materials is physiologically equivalent to touching boiling water. Additionally, they cannot pass over closed circles made of this material, whether inlaid in the ground or dusted over it like salt. They cannot touch it at all as it functions as an invisible, impermeable and indestructible barrier over the surface of these materials that they can in no way pass. The closed circle does not necessarily need to be “circular,” but as stated above; it needs to be pure. The touch of the materials mentioned prior is now equivalent to an open flame, with direct contact causing combustion at the point of contact.
Abilities;
[Invasive] Nobles may slowly move along vertical or sheer surfaces - even upside down, but if their concentration is broken (such as by pain or combat), they fall.
[Invasive II] Nobles may move normally along any vertical or inverted surface. It is as if they control their personal gravity, and are able to simply move with the ease along another dimension as a mortal would on the ground.
[Paternalism] A Noble is aware of their progeny. They know how many there are, whether they are alive or dead, and if they are starving or not.
[Enthrall] The Vyre targets another of their kind, feeding on them and then allowing their target to feed on the user in turn. This may only be used on another Vyre. The Vyre using this ability must be of higher rank than the Vyre they are targeting (i.e. Consumed vs Enthralled, or Enthralled vs Fledgling). This ability converts the Vyre that is being targeted into the user's bloodline, making the target their progeny, and the user their sire. The target's old sire is no longer their sire for mechanical purposes.
[Invasive III] Nobles may, at will, convert themselves into a flammable (equivalent to gasoline vapor in flammability) human-sized cloud of blood-red mist that may take any amorphous shape but must remain contiguous. While in this form they can move at up to the equivalent of a brisk jog; fast enough to move around, but easily outpaced by anyone earnestly trying. They may squeeze through tight spaces while in this form, such as through keyholes or the small gap beneath a door. The transition takes a few seconds, one combat round. Any heavy armor (chainmail, any form of plate) does not transform and is left behind.

Skraag Divine Achievement List - Tier Three :
Show extended worship, with two months OOC since achieving T2. 5/19 - 7/19
Must significantly contribute to (by attending) or host at least five events which are of thematic significance to their divine.

1. Render onto him - Contributed blood and 8 bodies along with a prayer to Sanctify the temple with Branko
2.
In his name - Gave her respects and a offering of flesh cake and blood to her lord, then celebrated with the family for the second Sanctification.
3.
Beyond Ice and Snow - Cleansed the filthy Skraagites that inhabbited her wifes home and pilfered their pilfering, sending 7 people to their graves, collecting 17 corpses in the process. Envy was prevalent here as she began her acceptance of having to murder other Skraagites so her method and her cult could remain higher.
4.
Adventure down below.... - Went into the crypts, killed many guards and pilfered the crypts, raising a dead cat named chestnut. 15 corpses were retrieved.
5.
Shh... don't wake the children - Summoned the Arch Angel of Decay with 8 mundane bodies, 2 biter corpses which were staked, and one biter's head, the vyres were sacrificed to return the power from the filthy impure skraagites and unworthy of his gift, along with that Hellmann offered blood, the Angel of Decay was asked of the path forward.

Education - She came forward with Karn to the shrine and let Karn do the talking for the most part. Finding Pestilence to be her new favoriate figment in terms of personality.
7. Requital - She and others of her faith defended the shrine againts an acolyte of the grey lady as well as helped fortify it through crafting means. She took out numerous archers with her undead and taunted the priestess into directly attacking them. She then captured the priesstess and had her apprentice slit her throat to give Skraag her holy blood in offering.



The character must have earnest and genuine faith to their Divine. - She holds Skraag close to her heart knowing that he will be the god she wishes him to be, as long as she holds patience, for he is ever changing
Evidence of a more unique understanding and outlook towards their own faith. - She believes Skraag to be the God of Empathy, holding it in her heart that his creations are made from seeing mortal souls fears and helping them beat their fears, freeing them from the Grey lady and giving them immortal life, however he is not perfect and that is okay, the true and worthy souls ascend to greatness of sentient undead by his hand, and those unworthy become mindless, failures by his hand sometime intensional, sometimes not. For his judgement is true.
Must show evidence in their log of teaching another something thematic to their Divine. (Hunting, Fighting, Dancing, etc)

-Has taught Loriss to appreciate Skraag and give her respects
- Has taken Rae, Brynjolf and Dorothy as her Students and Acoyltes.

Must have at least five instances in their divine log where they have personally done something significant in the name of their faith separate to the event(s) above.
1. The Last Chorus - Turned Anwar through finishing his first song, turning him into a Vyre to save his love. Curation of the Azarin line and it's growth has been primarily spearheaded by Hellmann
2. Following his Path - Finding out who her previous life was, and tracking down her past steps, finding her daughter, now tutoring them
3. A Painless Transition - Convinced a Shalheranan to embrace the incoming undeath instead of fighting it, causing her to turn off of her lover without hesitation.
4. A Painful Transition - Hellmann was executed for her crimes againts the court, taking her death with some pride and did not fight back, nor tremble.
5. Blood is Thicker than Water - Branko had previously cast Glimpse of Immortality on Laisa, which she desperately wanted to get revenge for, in which she tasked Rae to get a piece of his hair or blood. Rae had lied to Hellmann, telling her that they needed Branko's matter to undo a curse that would kill Laisa, Hellmann in her foolish compassion did this for Rae with confidence she would not lie to her. Hellmann then saved Branko from his endless misery of being a lover Vyre, turning him into noble vyre so he would return to happyness. She then collected a bit of his blood that was spilled by the others and brought it to Rae with haste, Hellmann being threatened by James Varyn in barental made her suspicious, so she pressed Laisa on what her intensions were, finding out the truth and that Rae betrayed her. Hellmann stayed steadfast, not giving up the blood despite how much it hurt Rae and the possibility of Laisa hurting Rae, not wanting to commit a act of treachery or voiding the tenant of the cult, for her care for Branko was too much

6. It's over, isnt it? - Hellmann finally fullfilled Branko's task, pilfering Iqya'mut's body and offering her hand to Skraag at the end as a show of the transference of power.
7. Pushed to the limit. - After being pressured to the exetreme, over time Hellmann's mental state has gradually deteriated. Pulled between the light of good and evil she still has yet to make a choice yet her faith remains in skraag even when a knife is held to her throat by Thryss, her faith was tested when Frost made her a offer she should not have refused, to denounce Skraag or to be eternally hunted. The shame she has felt for her self sacrifice, to sacrifice herself to better Skraag has been nothing but overwelming for her. Yet shes stood it all, with a small sense of pride within her. She would not abandon her god, she knows her goal is true. Doubt often tries to creep up on her, but she remembers back to when everyone was encouraging her, planting seeds of eternal hope.
8. Propogation. - After a long ass time and many deeds and lessons taught. Hellmann baptisised her student Dorothy by nearly drowning her in a lake of decay, filth, diesease and blood.
9. Laying down the lines - Hellmann has begun laying down Skraag effigies to begin the spread of diesease and rising corpses. (Northern Wastes, Kalstaat, Sangrian Mountains, Northeastern Wilds)



Ultimately they must guide another into the rank of T1 and showcase at least ten ways they assisted doing so. This can be through lessons, discussions, or other ways you feel are significant in the journey of the student. They must reach T1 before you can apply for T3.

2. She had taught dorothy of the recent history and various other followers, learning of Branko & Karn, and of the three’s different histories and perspectives and Hellmann told her the fate of her father and his mistakes 6/24
3. Dorothy learned of the new tenants and how they interact with eachother. They also taught her of the temples and the secrecy and why they are kept secret, she was told of spells and how they function in difference to arcane., 6/26
4. Hellmann taught dorothy of tenent viewpoints were conveyed of patience with the ability to heal mortals. “Life should be respected, as it is the spore of undeath and should let be until time is for the picking, that time comes with patience.” and they also spoke of history, and Hellmann told her of the flood and the effects that came with it. 6/28
5. Hellmann taught Dorothy of vyrism and all that emcompasses it, all four types and all 6 bloodlines, speaking of Vyre history along with it.
6. Hellmann hosted a meeting where Dorothy got to meet all the other Skraagites and hear of how the cult works. 7/12
7. Taught dorothy necromancy and the essence of blessed folk, leaning her into divine magic as she was previously scared of all magic not done by the gods directly. She then taught her the ritual that she has taught to others, and raised a snake with her in the ritual. 7/18
8. Started Dorothy on her quest to conquer her fear of filth, walking the past with her. 7/26
9. Displayed and taught how the tenant of the cult could be used "Collect and Harvest, Recycle and use every scrap" to stop her from throwing away her gloves. 7/26
10. Taught Dorothy of Figments and Angels, the pantheon and the structures that it has. She was aught of the cognitive and how gods are born and how they are changed. Showing her the goal of neutrality and Empathy is a path that can remain true. 7/26
1. Rae met Hellmann, learning basics from Hellmann of Skraag.
2. Hellmann visited Rae in Barental, where they discussed much and began the brewing of a Friendship and Mentorship, Rae was officially taken on as a student then and she was taught of the different skraagites, learning Hellmann's views and the 'right' path.
3. Hellmann showcased the tenant of blood being thicker than water, by not betraying Branko even when it would benifit her in every possible way.
4. Rae and Hellmann went to Oren and dig up her past, unearthing it and finding old secrets and pilfering her dead cat's skeleton, in a emotional ritual Hellmann raised it with Necromancy II
TIER FOUR JOURNEY

Must have a significant presence in the world as an embodiment of the virtues of their divine. Must make a constant effort to guide and foster their faith through either significant personal acts or active participation in events. -

She has been many been deemed the most neutral or even in some cases the 'good one' out of the skraagites in total, do to her outwardly sweet nature and lack of violent tendencies or nature. She still runs into trouble of course but is not a Monster like Branko or known as the Sweet talker like Karn, choosing to spread the wights teachings with a soft grip and compassion.

Must hold at least one sermon in which they explain their own unique views and understanding of their Divine.

An event held to sanctify an area/region in the name of their Divine, or the creation of a larger secondary shrine/church.

She has built a temple in the Lost Frontier that is readily accessable to all.

The Children of the Wight

Must show further evidence of having a unique view and understanding of their Divine and their faith. To truly show how they differ, and what faith means to them personally.

Hellmann is a interesting one, a coward at heart and happy with her faith, faithful to the core none the less. She values life with more weight than the other skraagites and preaches peace when she can. Skraag to her is a imperfect lord, not all of his creations are perfect (Ex. Deposed). Ones state of undeath determines their worth in her eyes. She believes throughly in the prophesy Dum'ni Plug once held, that Skraag is immune to corruption and will outlive all other gods into the dark ages, pilfering and consuming the dead gods to gain their power, becoming the monotheistic deity as the world is in darkness and chaos, the one people turn to in those times. Those truly immortal in his image will live and prosper in the end of times, and will enjoy their life for eternity.

1. [Undeath] Raised Freia from the dead after Aki had killed her, enstowing faith.

2. [Pilfering] Went pilfering with Branko in old Ralidor and got a whole set of Aracian plate, books and a heart.

3. [Decay / Diesease / Plagues] She has stolen a piece from another's path, wandering the Pilgrims path in the beginning of winter, her worship to Shalherana dieing off as she embraces decay fully, fightning death with decay and its effigies, going accross the world and charting the constilations from above, creating a tapastry of it whilst placing effigies down and around in difficult to get to spots, making those that would remove them and their lives a living hell.

4. [Fear/Vyrism] Fear is further instilled into a pupil, Freia, siring her with her own blood into a Vyre, creating a blood oath to never leave the line or else she will meet her final end under a Skraag shrine.

5. [Decay] With Visage finally dead within her heart, she removes the bodies of followers of Visage and sacrifice them in Skraag's name, to her shrine within her bedroom, letting the bodies of Malark Tallstag(Human), Valerie Gerhard(Human), Ginnian Fritch(Halfling) rot on the shrine. Note. All player character corpses as well.

6. [Pilfering / Undeath] Pilfered the Tavern of seven corpses after a slaughter, bringing them back to the temple, avoiding the battle inside by immediately leaving like a coward and waiting outside patiently until it was over, letting the peoples inside deal with the bandits. Simple and sweet.

7. [Vyrism] Hosted a event for The Azarin bloodline, a feast of all vyres and got a full turn out of all under Loriss. At the end she gave a grand toast and turned Rae Astrid, a good friend of hers who she had been persuading over time to embrace vyrism and join her immortal family once for all. Once a prospective student now gaining more favor in the wight by embracing his gift, as Hellmann would be gaining favor for spreading.

8. [Envy] Intitally out of Envy she has aquented herself with Storm Arcturus, not liking seeing him with Fronslin and getting affectionate, she fell to her own sick inner feelings and attempting to romance the man, falling for him and ruining Fronslins repuation in his eyes with gossip and secrets about the man. Eventually taking him for herself away from Fronslin and growing affection more and more, it growing both ways. Charming him through genuine great compatibility. She has now offered Vyrism to the x-Valiant blessed and got him to accept, also getting him to do a blood ritual to Skraag within the temple of the Lost Frontier, adding both of their blood to the blood pot.
Hellmann's Prayer : "Skraag, I offer you my blood and love, my life and my time with you for of life to live once more... for I to live eternal with my loving family under your eyes and in your image."
Storm's Prayer : "Skraag, I offer you my blood as a sign of my new-found respect. My eyes to you were opened by this woman and my ears closed to the slander of your name."
Their love has deepened as well, Hellmann's quest complete, Storm is now Skraag aligned and a Vyre.

9. [Vyrism] Through her efforts and worship, she has cultivated the Azarin bloodline into one of the largest current active Vyre bloodlines, having wonderful retension due to the benfiits she provides by managing progeny's feeding for them, by healing them whenever they are in need, by being the first one to the scene after a staking with the express purpose of saving them, she is her bloodlines angel and protector, whilst other lines have lost retension and members due to a lack of such she has kept growing and growing her line, infecting more and more people and convincing them to stay infected with logical reasoning and such benifits, all of this is done to build a successful line in dedication to Skraag and her wife who is also in the bloodline. from a once near dead line.
She has convinced the following people to join the line and most turned by her : Loriss Sularia - Ginnian Fritch - Anwar Attia - Malark Tallstag(In weird feral limbo state) - Valerie Gerhard(She helped tutor in vyrism after she agreed to be turned by malark and his leaving of the line, ensuring her retension) - Dayton Erhah - Freia Floretel / Marceline - Rae Astrid - Storm Arcturus. A total of 9 people.

10. [Fear] Being called to the temple for a meeting, the exalted Karn and leader of her family spoke to her and gave her the ultimatum of true faith, to leave behind all other entities she follows(Only visage was left remaining) . Or keep doing as she is doing and lose her tongue and never progress in faith. It took her some strength to push through the paranoia and fear and to make the descision, not trusting herself she insisted on swearing fealty to the wight then and there. 11. [Fear] Within the children of the wight, three greylings we're gifted to Branko after she had fed him repeated servings of Jishrims red moss, these children Hellmann treated as they would be her own, despite no words of such being sung she cleaned after them, fed them and cared for them whilst Branko made his presence ever known within the world. Her love for the children and who they would become was great, and taught her plenty of motherhood in a ways, even if she was 'aunty' Hellmann. When they reached very early adulthood and a semblance of maturity, all within the trio and ailleni we're ready for their intiation within the immortal family once and for all. Hellmann baptised Targ and Angau, giving them both visions of great fear and symbolism based on whom they were whilst drowning the poor boys beneath the blood pools. She regularly watches after the boys to this day in paranoia and fear that they may get hurt like their father regularly does, ready to patch them up when they eventually do.

12. [Undeath] After Branko had done his deeds to revive Bok'ra and help him along to life once more, Hellmann collected his sacrifice after her death, seeing upon who it was she cried over the corpse with the cruelty done to her in life. Ainslin being the signifigant other to Maple, a child Hellmann would regularly check in on because her father wouldnt. She judged Ainslin worthy of a revival under Skraag and raised her with Necro III. After this she restored Ainslins corpse and helped her in her journey of undeath and returning her to her lover maple. All in the will of Skraag and his compassion that he could give to let them hug and live for a time, showing that Skraag was not a whole evil deity in the process as well.

13. After a lengthy session in Nid Arach, her and Valerie ascended the grassy cliffs to get accesss to the top of the statue of 'Dum'ni Plug'. The battered and old statue standing up againts the trials of time, they climbed and climbed, making it to the top of his head. Kneeling atop, Hellmann would let out a lengthy prayer to Skraag, praying for Dum'ni to see what the region he once saw over has become and developed into. Leaving behind a shard of Volitile obsidion in honor of his once dragonglass fortress of old, she'd cast [Mire of the Necromancer] on the spot, dedicating the spot as holy in Skraag's image, cleaning the taint and sins he once commited, promising to not fall to heresy as her former exalt once did.

14. [Immortality] Went to a tattoo parlor in storms landing, getting a sleeve done up of Skraag's tenants and her cult tenants all inked on her in horghann and green ink, wrapping around her right arm with the ending and begining housing unhinged jaws of a forward facing skull. This was done to immortalize his images and text on her for all to see, lessening her attempts to hide her faith.

- Taranthe's compass -

This compass is marked is quite mundane to the naked eye, and in essence is, however it is the object with most worth to Hellmann and she would not trade it for anything, it was owned by her childhood best friend Taranthe, the vessel that Frost Menguar currently resides in, who was the first skraagite she had ever met in person and who accompanied her through her teens. The compass was passed on to Hellmann after her daughters demise at the hands of Jishrimites, a girl Hellmann treated like a ward, her body was never found but the compass was sent back alone. It is given to Skraag to hold for safe keeping and to give him direction when he needs it. For all she can hope for is to benifit her lord and rid of her earthly attachments in pursuit of his grace and immortal love wholey.

Before a shrine with Karn, she sacrifices a Mask from the depths(Left at the Cradle shrine) and a amulet of a mirror(No prop) to Skraag, swearing fealty and worship only to Skraag and Skraag alone for then on. Ending her long journey from the very beginning of dual worship and leaving visage behind in the dirt after much hesitancy, her exalted assisting her in the process. Everything that has meaning to be done with her lord in mind.
