[Jax] Cymic Seymour [T5]

Cymic_

Better than sliced bread
Legend

Current Divine Status
Cymic is currently preaching in the Halbed temple. Offering his services as a beacon of luck under the alias "Ajax" where he uses his spells to aid the party that has hired him. He is out on the streets living his life as bold as usual, digging himself into trouble and then back out of it for the sole purpose of his own entertainment. His jokes and jests and prods seem to make little folk laugh, save for Cymic (and those who keep up), as his quick witted lines make him genuinely laugh. Adversely, his humor dips into the childish aspects that jokes have to offer.
◇ Minecraft name: Cymic_
Character name: Cymic F. Seymour
Tier: Tier III - The Prophet

Spell Points: 9/day

WITHIN REACH I
Divine
: Jax.
Tier: 1
Action: Prayer.
Cost: 1SP
Duration: As long as required.
Spell: The caster summons either their coin purse or one item that can be held in one hand after the uttering of a prayer and a show of gold dust appearing as it materializes in one of their hands. They may dismiss it at will, the cost of this spell only applying upon summoning. In cases of combat, weaponry takes a turn to appear, and is not instantaneous. Both item and coin purse must be belongings of the caster.

FORTUNE'S COMPANY
Divine
: Jax.
Tier: 1
Action: Prayer.
Cost: 2SP
Duration: One hour.
Spell: The caster summons an softly glowing orb that can fit in the palm of their hand, in either a gold or silver theme. If not held, it floats idly around the caster or can be directed to move somewhere within 5b of them, illuminating the area with the strength of a torch (though able to be dimmed to give off less or no light at all). It works underwater as well as in the air, and when it is near something of value in an event it will ring like a bell at DM discretion. It lasts for one hour or until dismissed.

UNLUCKY
Divine
: Jax.
Tier: 1
Action: Prayer and the payment of one golden coin that disperses upon the cast.
Cost: 2SP
Duration: One day.
Spell: The caster curses an individual with bad luck and misfortune. The target finds that for the next 24 hours they will, at the choice of the caster, be given one of the following outcomes for the rest of the day:
[Clumsy] They bump into chairs, tables, walls, doors, and so on - As if everything has moved a few inches in the wrong direction and they never noticed. They even spill their drinks half the time. Wasteful.
[Loser] They lose every gamble they make, find that they have lost half their coin purse amount, and one of their normal possessions has abruptly been left at home or somewhere else entirely. Such as a boot, or a sword, or a cloak. How could they be so careless?
[Forgetful] They call people by the wrong name and make a fool of themselves for it, gaining a faint stutter and stammer that they surely didn't have before. They might have had a meeting to go to, or a delivery to make, but they've simply lost track of time.
Note: This cannot be used to sway the outcome of combat but the player may factor it in if they desire to do so.

BINDING CONTRACT I
Divine
: Jax.
Tier: 1
Action: Prayer.
Cost: 1SP
Duration: Permanent until broken.
Spell: The caster summons forth a golden quill and scroll of parchment from thin air with a poof of gold glitter, and it writes up a contract as spoken by the caster. The target can then take the quill to sign it, and the contract is sealed. Should this agreement or contract be broken in any way, the blessed witnesses the contract tear itself up in front of them, and the target is plagued with misfortune for the next week in a similar line to [UNLUCKY], the choice of either three options being up to the target (Clumsy, Loser, Forgetful).
Note: The contract states explicitly what will happen if the terms are not met. The one signing it is fully aware of the consequences. The contract cannot be altered once written.

FORTUNE’S FAVOUR
Divine
: Jax.
Tier: 2
Action: Muttered prayer and the offering of a golden coin, which vanishes when the spell is cast.
Cost: 2SP
Duration: 30 minutes.
Spell: In any scenario where luck has a part to play, the caster (or their target, if this is cast on another) may roll with advantage (roll twice, taking the higher result) where applicable, or the DM can be informed the caster is pulling on their luck with this spell cast. This should allow them the upper hand in gambling, but also things like picking locks or diving for pearls. At DM discretion this may also be used to give them an advantage in risky plays. Must be used in the next 30 minutes. This applies once for each 'roll' or instance of luck, and does not apply continuously for the duration.
Note: In cases where other players are comfortable with it, this spell can be used in occasions where no DM is present, but it is not a combat spell.

THE TRADING POST
Divine
: Jax.
Tier: 2
Action: Prayer and touch for 30 minutes.
Cost: 3SP.
Duration: Permanent, until another location is made.
Spell: With a kneel and verbal prayer, over half an hour the Blessed wills an area of a 15 block radius to form something like a shipwreck or a bunch of trade caravans with seating and piles of gems and opulence. Any who enter the area feel themselves far more cheery, an air of merriment and relaxation fills the area. There is a gambling table, a bar, and a small map showing the common trade routes within the area (either by sea or land). The gems cannot be taken out of the radius, but the bar demands coin and that coin is slowly added to these piles. Bar brawls for fun are the only type of violence accepted, and should this rule be broken the individual finds themselves propelled out the vicinity and unable to even perceive the area when they look at it. They can walk right over it and see nothing but air. Should this be cast again elsewhere, the old one fades.
Note: You can build this yourself or ask another for help in doing so. This can be removed if placed in a place that conflicts or offends another divine, by a blessed member of said divine. (i.e placing a Jishrim variant in a Shalherana grove).

TIDES OF FORTUNE
Divine
: Jax.
Tier: 2
Action: Verbal prayer, the breaking of an expensive bottle of alcohol upon the prow, and the payment of either a gemstone or a generous handful of whatever the caster considers their currency.
Cost: 3SP
Duration: One entire voyage.
Spell: The caster blesses a voyage with the luck of Jax. Ships with this spell cast will almost always find favourable winds and make good time, and find that those who fall overboard(or from the sails) sometimes catch a stray rope on the way down, a very lucky and fortunate event. It has been known to save ships from being sunk in storms, but not always. (This is up to the DM and is not a guarantee but they should be made aware of this spell cast.)

__________________________________________

WITHIN REACH II
Divine
: Jax.
Tier: 2
Action: Prayer.
Cost: 2SP per summon.
Duration: As long as needed.
Spell: The caster can store two large/medium items in a sort of pocket realm, and be able to pull one out with a prayer and a plume of gold dust over one combat turn/ten seconds. These items can be anything from a book, to a shield, to a wine bottle (wine included), to even a chair, but it must be something they can carry with one or both hands. Items cannot be 'pre loaded' or instantly materialized, nor can they be items formed from other spells such as summoned weapons or holy water. Gold dust fades within a minute, and cannot be harvested.

LUCKY THROW
Divine
: Jax.
Tier: 3
Action: Touch.
Cost: 3SP
Duration: One hour.
Spell: The caster touches an item and blesses it with the touch of Jax, making it appear as gold for the duration though retaining the qualities of its usual form. For the next hour, if this item is thrown (by hand) it is more likely to hit its mark. This can be at DM discretion or rolling with advantage, or if the target wants to take the hit they're free to. The effects lasts for three throws before the item returns to normal, or the duration passes.

__________________________________________

LET IT RAIN
Divine
: Jax.
Tier: 3
Action: Vocal prayer, and the offering of something mildly valuable which vanishes after the spell is cast.
Cost: 4SP
Duration: 15 minutes.
Spell: The caster summons a rain of golden coins in a radius of several blocks (RP chat range) that hit like solid hailstones, leaving small bruises where they hit. This may result in ideally everyone getting under some sort of cover or fleeing the vicinity. The coins disperse after the spell has ended, unable to be collected. Jax is not that generous.

__________________________________________

HOMEWARD BOUND
Divine
: Jax.
Tier: 3
Action: Prayer, the flip of a coin, and the offering of something considered valuable (gold coin, silver ring, etc).
Cost: 4SP
Duration: One hour.
Spell: The caster gambles in making a shortcut, offering Jax an item with prayer over five minutes and flipping a coin. The offering will disperse into gold dust, forming a swirling golden portal before them which will remain there for up to one hour or until it is passed through. The caster or any Jax blessed may pass through this portal, but only one, and they may carry either an unplayed infant up to the age of five or an animal no larger than a dog. They will keep whatever they are wearing upon them. Upon passing through the portal, the coinflip will decide their location:
1 - They appear in a place they consider of comfort, or home.
2 - They appear in the Grand Cathedral.

__________________________________________

UNLUCKY STRIKE
Divine
: Jax.
Tier: 3
Action: Prayer.
Cost: 3SP
Duration: One hour.
Spell: The caster curses their target with a wave of unfortunate timing, and their next attack finds itself missing its mark, missing all vitals. Damage can still be inflicted, but if it’s an arrow for the head, it hits the arm. A stab for the torso skirts the side instead. The injury should be agreed upon by both parties but confirmed it is not a lethal blow. The effect only works for one fatal injury, or up to one hour (or end of combat if it is being hard timing).

◇ Boons:
+Gambler's Luck (18) Once per week, the recipient of this boon may re-roll any luck-based roll and take the higher result. This luck does not require a prayer beforehand to activate, but consistent prayer to Jax (~once per week) must be maintained for it to persist. Only applies to luck-based rolls. Must be declared before rolling.

Artifacts:
+NAME: Krakensgrowth
DESCRIPTION: A spectral tentacle that is albino in hue, reminiscent of the one that attacked Storm's Landing. It is massively scaled down, to match the size of an average arm.
PASSIVE: The tentacle can sprout from the attuned's form, or anywhere within 5 blocks of the attuned. Only able to perform menial tasks, non-applicable inside of combat.
[ABILITY - SUNKEN]: The tentacle appears from the floor and attempts to make one grappling attack against a target in range. If the attack is successful, the target is held in place until they either escape the grapple or destroy the tentacle. The tentacle uses the attuned's Soul+Grappling to make attacks. Can only be used three times per day.
ATTUNED TO: Cymic Cymic_

+Amiable Leer
A gold tooth. Attuned's breath smells of the sea.
The caster speaks a joke. Up to three targets are put into an irresistible and immense laughing fit for one round/one minute. The targets are not stunned, but impeded to some degree, though not to the point of being defenseless. Can be used once per day.

-
+Seabreak
A trident made of dark steel with a greenish hue, decorated with imagery depicting waves, and a kraken tentacle wrapped about an anchor. Thin lines of gold swirl down through the dark wooden shaft, which is coiled by gold rope for better grip in the upper half.
It is immune to rust or any damage sea or weather related, and when thrown it can be called back by the will of the wielder no more than three times a day providing the item is within RP chat range.

+Gambler's Coin (3 successful gambles, he continues to retain possession)
A golden Radiant coin, bearing the image of a grinning man on one side.
When included in a bet resolved by rolling in game, the owner can roll twice and consider the higher roll to be their result in-character. If the bet is lost, ownership and attunement is transferred to the winner. If stolen or otherwise lost outside of gambling it, the owner will find the coin back in their possession within a few days. How fortunate! Grants +1 to gambling rolls made while in the possession of the owner, up to a maximum of what's available on the dice used.

+ Blessed Coins (0/4 remains in possession)
A simple gold coin
Good luck charms, allow 1 re-roll during an event. Leftovers of the Crusade Event.

One has been granted to Rogerius [Unused]

One has been granted to Josef [Unused]

Passives(s) or Sustained Effects:

[Exalted Passive - Jester]
+ A life of laughter and mirth leaves it's jovial stain. Bells, broken or otherwise may jangle with the exalt's steps. Ink or paint can be willed about the wearer's skin, overstepping permanence like that of an ever changing canvas.
Exalted Crown
On Cymic's head, tentacles of an ethereal gold kraken wriggle and tug against eachother or otherwise grip the head of the wearer like that of a wrecking ship.

[Quirk]
[J A X]
+ ][ They may will their eyes to appear completely gold or silver at will, obscuring where they’re looking directly.
+ ][ With the offering of a golden coin, they may heal one of their own superficial wounds (that do not require stitches), leaving behind either no scar or a golden marking.
+ ][ They are able to breathe underwater as if it were air, and seem to be good swimmers.
+ ][ They find they can see underwater with no sting to the eyes and no blurriness to the vision.

[Aesthetic]
+ ][ Golden speckles, shimmers, or coins appear either at will around them or under certain circumstances, such as in times of heightened emotions, adrenaline, or spellcasting.
+ ][ Divine markings thematic to their divine form (in color as well as design) upon the body. This can be as simple as bands around the wrists, or an entire intricate design across the back, left up to the player.
+ ][ Sections of their hair take on a golden/silver color, including facial hair, and they gain the ability to will it into any hair style that works for them (including pinning/tying it back).
+ Undecided.

[Universal]
+ || INSPIRATION ||
The blessed serves as a beacon of hope to their allies, bolstering their resolve. Allies within 5 blocks may substitute the blessed’s Soul score for their own on checks to resist effects or conditions.
+ | ETERNAL ||
The blessed’s injuries heal at an unnatural rate and in unnatural ways. Nonlethal injuries tend to heal fully within one day OOC, and particularly severe injuries may take several. Any full limbs the blessed loses regrow fully over the course of a week; extremities may take a few days. If the blessed is slain, they may opt to repair and regrow where they fell and revive after 48 hours instead of going through standard revival methods, though they do not revive fully healed and their injuries will continue to heal at the rate mentioned above. Any healing done by this effect leaves scars where the original injury was.
Revival in this method does not count towards the standard revival count, but post on the thread with 'Eternal' specified as the method for record keeping. The usual memory loss mechanics apply to revival through this method; the details of their death are hazy, and they remember little of the actual deed.
+
|| BLESSED FORM ||
The blessed’s patron grants some form of enhancement to their body directly. This can be taken multiple times, but only once for each skill. Fortitude, Determination, and Awareness are universally available, and certain gods offer other options. +1 Fortitude
+ | BLIND FAITH ||
The blessed relies wholly and unquestioningly in their faith in times of confusion, and may substitute Soul for Mind when rolling to resist mental effects.
+ || PROVIDENCE ||
The blessed’s soul is warded by their faith in their Divine. If something tries to possess them, or they’re targeted by an effect that is functionally identical to possession, the blessed may roll a d6 save to resist it. If they roll their tier or lower on the d6, the possession fails and has no effect. They are additionally fully immune to any attempts to lay claim to their soul (in terms of it being trapped, imprisoned, or otherwise by some entity. This is not expected to come up much in RP, but exists for flavor). For curses or afflictions like Vyrism or Spiritblessed, they may resist it outright or optionally roll a possession save against it.
+ || NATURAL ALLIES ||
Certain creatures recognize the Blessed of certain gods and behave differently than they would to other mortals, so long as hostility isn’t shown to them.
- Skraag: Mindless undead aren’t hostile to Skraag blessed.
- Jishrim: Spiders aren’t hostile and treat the Blessed as allies.
- Shalherana: Non-predatory wild animals aren’t bothered by the Blessed’s presence.

+ Summoning Festival of Ale and Mirth
A festival in which we called upon Jax, god of mirth and fortune for great luck in endeavors with the unholy, and to take part in festivities. Korog, god of ale and craftmanship had been requested to tag along, in hopes to spill some drink for us. The grand winning bet was 40k radiants
+ Kraken Retrieval
Cymic and co. went out to retrieve the remains of the kraken that destroyed Storm's Landing. They happened upon the same Kraken, raised from the dead by an avatar of Skraag. Cymic slayed the avatar with a ballista, and thus killed the kraken, earning the title "Krakensbane"

+ Indulgence of Serendipity
A sermon and gamble held in Storm's Landing. Donations were also collected with the intentions of building a new cathedral in Halbed.
+ Path of Prosperity - Opportunity

+ Path of Prosperity I - Ruins of Stungstone
An event in which an old temple left to wither and rust was utilized as pilgrimage- and explored. We retrieved an emerald statuette of Jax.
+ The Ignoble's Ball
Within the slums of Storm's Landing sat Cymic atop a pile of junk mirroring those of nobility in palaces, holding their exclusive balls. Well, this time Cymic held his own very festive ball, within the grime of the Landing, merrily. For Ignobles. All archetypes of a Jax follower were invited to celebrate.
+ Poster
A poster seeking out a scribe to aid in writing a holy book for Jax, or seeking if one already had existed.
+ Blessing of the Grimoire, and Requesting Jax's Favor
Cymic sought out Jax's guidance within troubled times of the Aeon Campaign. He also brought along a holy book that was scribed, writing of many games collected from the widespread map into bound pages. Jax blessed the book, in that he left his holy mark. Cymic gave the chance for those who have not decided on a deity to come and listen to the teachings of Jax, and for any who willed, to testify for Jax.
+ Path of Prosperity II - Unto Depths
Tales of sunken treasure lured Jax worshippers of all kinds, and the faithful Fortune Runners sailing into a crack in the sea floor. Dropping pockets of air roped to heavy stones, they sought out a stash of the late infamous Corven. Sacking his gold and bringing it back to the ship. They retrieved Corven's Gold and some tideborne weaponry.
+ Keeping Faith
Cymic attended this congregation of ALL faiths, in trying times near the end of the Forlorn campaign. He gave great sermon to Jax, as the priest of Him.
+ Pilgrimage
Cymic also attended this congregation of ALL faiths, in trying times near the end of the Forlorn campaign. He gave another sermon to Jax as the leading priest, under guise of another.
+ Path of Prosperity III - Heist of Dune
Cymic led this highly anticipated event into the sands east of Aelmere. Him, and a party of many faithful Fortune Runners were ambushed whilst trying to infiltrate a town known as Dune, full of thriving murderers. They escaped on their wagon, full with gold and prized shards of a large sapphire.
+ Path of Prosperity IV - After Party
A sermon that included copious amounts of alcohol and everyone drinking to good health and fortune. The Fortune Runners were invited to an exclusive event where all of the gold that the crew had helped put together was offered to Jax. Four main treasures, and a bonus one, were offered up to Jax. The Gambler's Coin from the very first even, following the Emerald Statuette, Corven's Gold, and the Sapphire Shards. The Kogrite Crown of the former King of Dwarves was offered up. Later, Jax had taken only the Statuette and the Gambler's Coin, leaving the gathered treasure to fund the new Jax temple.
+ Storm's Landing Gamble
Like it says on the tin, a gamble in storm's landing where, as expected, there was quite a large turnout, with many people spending their coin in hopes to make it over thricefold.
+ The Service of a Beacon of 'Luck'
Cymic has pledged his service to the realm in all things casual, or good. He is to use his powers, rather than sitting idle, or for personal gain.
+ Halbed Gamble
A gamble was held at the newly built temple to Jax. He gave his sermon on the stars, and that they should be followed and utilized to find the meteors. No signs from Jax at this event.
+
A Divine Inking
Largely successful event, large turnout, several men received tattoos of Jax. A black die appeared at Cymic's altar and he rolled it, mysteriously disappearing.
+ A Clown's Clergy
A sermon in Halbed under the temple of Jax. Cymic attempted to demonstrate how giving to Jax may affect your luck through the use of darts and blindfolds. It was not a success in Cymic's eyes but it had a great turnout and his message was a strong one.
+ The Emerald Tourney
During this festivity, cheers came bursting from the stands where there was no one there. Radiants sprinkled around the enormous jousting lanes. Despite for an accidental murder that threw off Cymic's entire game, it had a great turnout and a sign from Jax who praised the festivities.
+ Immortal Advenure
During the times of the stasis, when your wounds would not heal, Cymic took advantage of his status of undying and led a kraken hunt.
+ Of Luck and Mirth
Cymic was the priest of this event, crafting the second baptism of the pantheon. The child of Agnar Freyr and Milah Sicarus received a birthmark of Jax.
+ A Disagreement of a Tenet
Cymic argues the tenet, "Take what you can, give back only what you must" urges to promote greed, which the previous tenet it replaced warned against.

◇ J A X ◇ - Tier 4

Show extended worship, with three months OOC since achieving T3.

T3 since June, 2019

Must have a significant presence in the world as an embodiment of the virtues of their divine. Must make a constant effort to guide and foster their faith through either significant personal acts or active participation in events.
Cymic is a living embodiment of Jax's tenets and outward acts. When i created the character, he simply fit right under Jax's tenets and became blessed under the first event he hosted for Jax. He has acted as the main Jax blessed ever since the divine system was first released years ago, being transferred between each divine magic rework until current. He mostly acts 'The Fool', but also 'The Merchant' as Sangria began as a mercenary and brewing business. He is likewise always happy and jovial, jestful- Perhaps even to his own downfall sometimes. His riskful outlook and bold moves also place him as 'The Gambler', taking part and hosting many gambles. Official, and off the records.

Must hold at least one sermon in which they explain their own unique views and understanding of their Divine.
[Here]
Although previously, in an event a few years ago he explained at a sermon that combat was within Jax's regards considering his taste for adventure from back in the day, he received pushback from Jax. Nowadays, Jax seems to have embraced this.
Alternatively, with the event linked, he explained that Jax isn't inherently greedy, nor should his followers be.

In Cymic's eyes, when Jax ate Bilworth and absorbed his domains, he lost the quality of greed and became a side of a two faced coin. He still believes in self indulgence and hedonism but with Bilworth in the picture, that you maintain some level of control, and perhaps give back to maintain good karma.

An event held to sanctify an area/region in the name of their Divine, or the creation of a larger secondary shrine/church.
[Here]

Must show further evidence of having a unique view and understanding of their Divine and their faith. To truly show how they differ, and what faith means to them personally.
Through many events, sermons, and OOC years serving the deity of luck, Cymic has spoken on every single aspect and what they mean, and explaining how to follow them. Jax is a god that following means living. To follow Jax, it could be a rags-to-riches kind of story, a self-made (wo)man. To follow Jax means to indulge yourself in the pleasures of Altera and look after yourself first, before others. You follow the laws when they apply to you, and you break them when they don't. Or, you start a kingdom, and you make your own laws.

Must have at least ten instances in their divine log where they have personally done something significant in the name of their faith separate to the event(s) above.
+ [The Gift of Giving] - Cymic for the longest time held a pair of ice-blue eyes. He still misses them to this day, as i do OOCly, but he granted his wish for eyes in likeness of 'The Gambler' and his pupils glossed over into a golden color. [Dec. 2020]
+ [Tumultuous Seas] - For a sailing adventure hosted by a fellow Jax blessed, Umbra, Cymic blessed their ship which aided in traversing the ocean for their adventure. Despite things happening on-board that perhaps were not so lucky, no harm was caused by the sea itself. A successful cast. [Jan. 2021]
+ [Immortal Adventure] - During the times of the stasis, when your wounds would not heal, Cymic took advantage of his status of undying and led a kraken hunt. including those under his faction, The Fortune Runners. A cult-before-cults devoted to Jax.
+ Cymic was challenged by the leader of the Storm's Landing Guard, and Valiant blessed, Uriel to a duel. Being the risky fellow, he only would agree if it were to the death. When Cymic bested Valiant's champion in single combat, a feat that was risky enough on it's own- He spared the man, proving that he risked death on his own end only.
+ During a divination hosted by Eliss Cuttingthorne, 'The Merchant' showed up. Previously, when accepting offerings for the ceremony, Cymic offered up an Immortal Dust. [Jan 2022]
+ When meeting with the fellow Jax-Blessed and faithful, he offered them the holy book he once had officialized by Jax. A compilation of Gambling games originally penned by the owner of Rogue's Hearth. [Jan. 2022]
+ After attending a few Taproom Boondays hosted at the Tilted Whale and Anchor Taproom, Cymic offered Ruvan a copy of the Gamblers Grimoire, further spreading the holy book of gambling games to a popular bar. [Jan. 2022]
+ [Of Luck And Mirth] - Cymic hosted one of the first baptisms of children within the pantheon, that being the child of Agnar Freyr and Milah Sicarus. The child was granted a birthmark of Jax.
+ The Invoker of Jax constructed a large gambling hall underneath Halbed. It's warm, hosts a bar, and hosts eight games that can be used without the /roll command so that chat could not be clogged. 6/8 of these gambling machines are unique in that i made them up myself. A card machine that allows for games like blackjack or poker (full deck of unique cards), a game akin to horse racing done with carts, and several different stake slot machines. [Jan. 2021 - Jan. 2022]
+ Cymic offers a craft from Thordil, Korog Blessed. A large compass shaped slab of rich metals. While seeming fit since they both got blessed in the same event, at some point in their journey Thordil crafted him a work of art. It now rests in the grand cathedral within Storm's Landing. [Feb 2022] (Hopper is full)
+ Cymic attends Abraham's event, [An Opinion on Jax] - Cymic attends this under the attire of Jax. He makes note of the man's points in a notebook, expanding on such to return to the man so that he may reflect on some of the in-between-the-line aspects of his own preachings.
+ During an adventure to the Ashlands for the event, [Drako-go!] - Cymic used his spell to aid a fellow adventurer, Amund Khrarstein from the attack of a Drakodo. It seemed to prove effective. Him and Branko were grateful they had brought a Jaxite, specifically. [Feb 2022]
+ [Streets of Serendipity - Gambling Hall Opening] While Cymic has hosted games within his gambling hall for a few close friends, this one was finally open to the public. Large stakes prizes including Drakodo pieces, multiple Immortal Dust, Radiant Lump Sums, Ancient Tideborne Weaponry (beyond repair), A bottle of Alcohol from the year 500, and Volatile Obsidian, amongst smaller things such as Glimmersteel Ore and some Jewelry. [Feb 2022]
+ Beat the figment, 'The Gambler', in a game of luck. [Feb 2022]
+ Has taken Targ under his wing in the worship of Jax. He has also supplied him with the Gambler's Grimoire, that he may use for future events on his journey with Jax. [Feb 2022]

An offering of something of great personal value to the character themselves given to their Divine. Include evidence of why this offering is of importance and significance.
High Tier Loot, i have owned these items OOCly and ICly for years, and i am sad to see them go.
[Ardaric's Saber] - Acquired IC after pilfering through the Cove. It was an adventurous event with many traps laid and such. This is one of his greatest treasures. He offers it due to Jax's distaste of Visage, especially in recent events.
[Maceo's Family Ring] - After a 'Greyling Style' gamble with Balatro, Cymic attained this simple ring. He's held onto it ever since. This is one of his greatest treasures. He offers it due to Jax's distaste of Ignis.

(Hopper is overflowing atm, only managed to put Maceo's Ring in there.)

An Oath of personal and religious significance must be sworn in the name of their God.

[The Contract] - Upon reaching tier 3, a fine contract and golden ink were provided by Jax. Within this contract, it was stated that he was bound to Jax as his blessed. Cymic takes this oath further, his ways set deeper than stone to always live under Jax's ways.
[Oath of Opportunity] - Cymic has vowed to provide for the poor of his people, the rags of his city. A stand in accordance to Bilworth is set within the walls offering food for those without. It warns against taking too much. A promise to give a more charitable view was made as well. [March, 2019]

◇ Oaths
+[The Contract] - Upon reaching tier 3, a fine contract and golden ink were provided by Jax. Within this contract, it was stated that he was bound to Jax as his blessed. Cymic takes this oath further, his ways set deeper than stone to always live under Jax's ways.
+[Oath of Opportunity] - Cymic has vowed to provide for the poor of his people, the rags of his city. A stand in accordance to Bilworth is set within the walls offering food for those without. It warns against taking too much. A promise to give a more charitable view was made as well. [March, 2019]

He no longer seems to carry his Gambler's Coin with him. Where could it have gone?

Also, added the leftover Crusade Event items to my page until i can distribute them to some Jax-folk.

Due to Cymic now wielding a trident that he retrieved from an avatar/blessed of Skraag a while ago, and slaying deviants of Skraag is a good thing, i have inserted this event:
+ Kraken Retrieval
Cymic and co. went out to retrieve the remains of the kraken that destroyed Storm's Landing. They happened upon the same Kraken, raised from the dead by an avatar of Skraag. Cymic slayed the avatar with a ballista, and thus killed the kraken, earning the title "Krakensbane"

Cymic wields a newly-shafted trident, using the head from the Skraagite's weapon as his own. It has been modified and engraved by Cymic's childsmith Ventare.
