1. What is your Minecraft username?
JamesTruwood
2. How old are you?
28
3. What country are you from?
Canada
4. Have you read the King's Law, Code of Conducts, Official Lore, and the Player Guides yet?
I have read through them yes.
5. In your own words, how would you define metagaming and powergaming?
Metagaming is using knowledge you learn outside the game to influence how your character acts even though they would not know the information in character.
Powergaming is treating your character as better or more powerful in all circumstances, which can be through either your character being roleplayed as unbeatable or rules lawyering.
6. Do we allow X-Raying mods or X-Ray texture packs on the server?
As a technical form of metagaming these sorts of mods and texture packs are not allowed.
7. Name one of our current Mentors.
There are currently 5, but I shall name Niko because he reminds me of the cat from Secret of Mana (Clearly, going off the name alone).
8. Tell us about yourself!
I’ll tackle this in about the same way as asked. I have a cat named Mischief, who as the name might suggest, gets into Mischief. I like to write, and cover most forms of writing from prose to poetry to lists. Other hobbies would include reading, role playing, and cooking; I have good chicken recipes and dying to try a ground lamb casserole. Overall, a fairly simple man, and somewhat introverted, so that’s as much as I’ll say for this app.
9. Do you have any examples of your work?
See Bottom, but the same server JustTheEngineer was working for, former admin/owner/original creator.
10. Did anyone refer you? If not, how did you find our server?
Known about it for a while, but referred to by JustTheEngineer.

Sitting at a tavern table, Siegfried looks across to the three sharing it with him, unshaven and cocky sailors from the port. A flicker towards the playing cards lying down in front of him, he waves over to the server.
“Another round for these fine sailors, they’ll need the drink when they lose their coin.”
Grumbles and smirks accompany the jest, each thinking they would leave with pot, a paltry sum barely enough to cover their stay. One draws a card from the desk, tossing another radiant carelessly into the pot.
Siegfried thinks, weighing the hand he has against the pot, and tosses a coin of his own. “Careful now, I can’t reveal myself before the others commit.” He would think to himself, working hard to maintain disinterest. The others were less careful, having drunk two tankards of ale already, and their dismay and joy was clear upon their faces.
“The port you came from, you’ve said little. What wonders lie there, in this place you called Storm’s Landing?” He had heard the story before, of the many folk they encountered and their story about the drunk pirate, but he cared little. Something to keep them jolly, and at the table longer. A better chance to walk away with their coin, if he was lucky. A quiet prayer to Jax as he looks at his hand, disappointed with its contents.
“Here’s those drinks sir.” The server would say, placing the tankards before the others. Siegfried would wave off his own, seemingly more intent in his cards.
“Thank you, here.” He would say, placing the payment for them on the plate the tankards came from, some spilled ale ringing the sides.
While they drank, they drew their final cards. “Damn!” Siegfrieds thinks, seeing as he has lost the hand. The winner laughs at him, the very image of a Sangrian. He hated that laugh, hates that look of condescension for not being the famed warrior this man thought he was. Still, the night was just beginning, and as the tankards piled up, his fortunes changed, little by little.
Some hours later Siegfried would find himself on the bed in his rented Inn, looking up to the roof. Another day, another look at the ships. He was hopeless here. He had prayed to Ignis, offering his thanks for the world as it was. Such a world was navigable, understandable. It was right. But he would need the help of that other god, that Gambling Jax to see his ambition fulfilled. Maybe it was time he took a big gamble of his own, and see what fortune he could make for himself.
It was time for Siegfried to see the world, and he would start in that port those sailors came from, Storm’s Landing.
