● INTRODUCTION ●

There are many hidden gems within the realm that the mortal races call home. Places of deep tranquility and raw natural beauty as well as grand cities built as testaments to mortalkind's potential and eye for beauty. The valley of Emyn Arnen is the former, a place one could not find on their own if they did not already know the way. A secret place, hidden deep within one of the many forests of the realm. It is a place that plays host to crystalline cerulean waters and fauna and flora of all manner of varieties, that all bloom with the beauty only mother nature is known to craft. Within this valley, one can truly feel at peace, with tranquility in their hearts that can only be found while living amongst and alongside nature in truly natural equilibrium.

● HISTORY ●

When a certain group of elves first came to this continent, they brought with them their steadfast faith to the oldest of all deities, Shalherana the All-Mother. In the old world, they had clung to their forest sanctuary for as long as they could, defending it with their virtuous hearts against the tide of undead that swarmed to overtake their grove. In the end, they were sadly driven out by these abominations but the settlers were graced with a gift from on high once they reached the new world: the valley that would come to be known as Emyn Arnen, known for its natural beauty and hidden but protected nature. With their faith still firm in their souls and minds, they declared this to be the centre of their faith, a valley they would once again be given to the domain of the All-Mother. Now, that duty has been passed to new caretakers, the White Iris, who continue to uphold that group's final wish for sanctuary and peace.

● RELIGION ●

The valley of Emyn Arnen has always been a place dedicated to the worship of Shalherana. Since the first settlers of this world reached the valley it has been a place of worship for those of the All-Mothers faith, the natural beauty of the place a testament to the powers of Shalherana. This holds true even now, as the only two Blessed of Shalherana that remain steadfast by her side both call this place home, as does their organisation of the White Iris. The faithful of Shalherana implore those with the faith in the hearts to come find them in this bastion of faith, they call for them to lead into this world of quiet but powerful worship if their faith is true. They do this from a recently constructed temple built directly into one of the many wondrous caverns of the valley, a place consecrated by both Blessed.
