Poster A plead.

Chiarophinx

Lord of Altera
Legend
Lightshine. 20.
She must come back.
For that I beg you, upon every mage, god, and heretic- I have asked.
But that which stills and departs, her silent heart while the world's blood flows without.
Only life can give life.
A war in heaven, between giants, only the grass beneath their feet suffer.
Whatever the price may be.
Please.
Bring Violet back to me.
I plead for it's gift.

Sunbright 23rd
We are the marble unmarred by tenebrous streaks.
We are the course that charted early.
We are born of sand, left of sand.
We are broken circles and flowing timepieces.
For all of our minds, our magics, our genius.
That which saw the light dimmed with corruption, and took wing
That which founded a sanctum that turns away all visitors
That which lived and breathed, alone, so that we may outlast the follies of the world.
That the hands of their gods will never reach us, and yet-
We never solved death. Ever heard of a sword? She would have said
Even when Violet saved us from it
We never solved life.
And the sands grow lonelier for it.

Mistset 14th
Some things, may be worth abandoning one's faith for.
Faltering light is what brought us here. And a ship. I can imagine her saying.
Hers being snuffed out is what makes me leave it.
They have the answers.

Mistset 23rd
Today, I arrived in the garden of an old god.
What tragic folly.
Courier of a corpse and dying hopes, an offering of any tribute required.
For the mother of mothers, I ask her hand to return the departed- blooming heart of thy civilization
Pleading, pleading.
The distance I have covered, the betrayal I have committed.
For her. It will be worth it.
And yet, life has turned on her. Fled from her wings.
There is no more life. Not granted by her.
Elsewhere.
Someone must.

Fogwater 4th
They have come for me.
What souls live still in those homes.

Fogwater 23rd
I don't like this one. I don't think it likes you either
Warden of chains and gloom, measuring out one's worth on merchant scales.
This soul can't be reclaimed. A skull speaks.
Wrong.
What a smug skull. Makes two of us

Ghostmoon 22nd
Each month. Each day. Marked on Violet's death,
I embrace another.
This one needs to work. It won't
-Not yet. Not until everything else is exhausted

Ghostmoon 23rd
She's back

Ghostmoon 24th
Her smile is forced.

Ghostmoon 25th
I wish she would speak to me.
I talk to her. She doesn't answer.
I tell her about the old gods, the ones we left.
I tell her about Korog.
The craftsmanship of her new body, a perfect facsimile.
An impossible act of artifice, mystifying in it's function.
Impossible to understand, how the body moves, how the heart beats, how the soul toils within a case of wood and metal
She pulls a smile and nods.
Always smiling.
The perfect caricature mocks me.

Ghoostmoon 26th
I break it.
Just a creature of iron skin. Not who I loved.
She laughs

Stormwind 22nd
Two left.

Stormwind 23rd
Mud and muck is pulled up with it's movement.
It groans outside the thin wooden door. I could break it
The smell of mold filters through the seams in the door, the wood curls and rots-
You'd think a divine perfume would smell nicer
I could- feel it's weight against the door. Heavier than me.
We waited the entire night, both pressing against it.
She left in the morning.

Stormwind 24th
There's nothing left of her.
Nothing left to be revived.
It took and twisted her, not even a word could it speak.
I should have gone to the last from the start.
I always knew.
Only life can bring life. No warden, nor crafter, undeath.

Stormwind 28th
Only one place left to go.

Winterfeast 2nd

It takes shorter than usual to cross the threshold, the power of home is waning as always.
It is done now, I suppose.
If I submit to their punishments, perhaps they'll allow me a life back with them.

Winterfeast 3rd
Not waning as always.
Faster.
I had not noticed they stopped coming for me entirely, after that- she was made.
I wasn't the only one who came back here.
...and she's much hungrier than I.

Sporebloom 24th

The vessel doesn't last forever. Maybe if there were more to eat
I take her skull back.
I can try again. There was only ever one choice
